2007 Board Election Results:
Chuck Trueman – 22 votes
Stacy Woods – 22 votes
Trish Tatnall – 21 votes
Linda Draper – 19 votes
Phil Allen – 18 votes
·         Linda will contact Shariah for transfer of community financial records.
·         Meeting opened to community for goals and suggestions for 2007.

Community Goals/Suggestions

·         Members would like to see current deed restrictions enforced.
·         Members would like to see changes/additions to current deed restrictions.
·         Carolyn suggested that a draft of all deed restriction changes, etc. be created and delivered to the community door-to-door w/ a petition so that all possible changes could be presented at once.
·         Members are not happy with the current appearance of the community sign.  The state is to cover the landscaping and lighting costs.
·         Suggested that a community meeting be held to discuss any wanted deed restriction changes/additions and announce that deed restriction enforcement is underway.
·         Carolyn suggested sending warning notice to homeowners currently in violation of deed restrictions.  This would require canvassing the neighborhood to note current violators.  An additional possibility is to post a notice in the newsletter and ask community members to email violations noted to the community website.
·         Discussed possible community days:  cleanup days, block parties, etc. to encourage community involvement.

Volunteers

·         The following community members volunteered their time:  Margaret Burwell Dent (canvas neighborhood for deed restriction violators, help w/ door-to-door vote), Denise Smith (canvas neighborhood for deed restriction violators, help w/ door-to-door vote), Rob Miller (landscaping committee, Grass cutting committee)
Adjourned.  Next board meeting scheduled for Monday, January 15th 7:30 p.m. at Trish’s house.
